Top 5 Artists #2

OF COURSE Hayao Miyazaki is on my list. He is number two solely because I feel he is an inspiration for many people in my field because of his infamous works. His ease of narrative and intimacy in parallel to expert timing and action points have made him a household name.

What I find most compelling about Miyazaki is his use of intimacy, light and setting choice. While I don't personally animate, I aim to stress those points in my illustration and painting.
